1. Who we are

AVA Classroom PH is run by VA Chris and VA Mitch in General Santos City, Philippines. We sell online courses, one-on-one coaching and group training for aspiring Amazon Virtual Assistants, and we connect Amazon sellers with trained VAs.

We are the personal information controller for the information you give us through this website. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

2. What we collect

When you enroll or book

  • Account details: full name, email address, mobile number, and a password. We store your password only in scrambled (hashed) form, so even we can't read it.
  • Payment details: the payment method you used (GCash, UnionBank or GoTyme), the reference number, the amount, and the screenshot of your receipt. Your screenshot may show your name, mobile or account number, and the date and time of payment.
  • Booking notes: your preferred schedule for one-on-one coaching.

We do not collect or store your e-wallet or bank password, PIN, OTP, or card details. Payments happen inside your own GCash, UnionBank or GoTyme app.

When you message us or ask to hire a VA

  • Your name, email, and optionally your phone number and store or company name.
  • What you write in your message or hiring request.

When you share your story

  • The name and title you choose to show, your story, an optional photo, and an optional video link.

Automatically

  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use it to keep the website running and secure, for example to block password-guessing and spam.

3. How we use it

  • To verify your payment and give you access to what you bought.
  • To send you emails about your order: payment received, access confirmed, password resets, and coaching or class schedules.
  • To schedule and run your one-on-one session or group class.
  • To answer your messages and hiring requests.
  • To publish your story on our website, only if you submitted it and only after we review it.
  • To protect our students and our website from fraud, fake receipts, account sharing, spam and attacks.
  • To keep business and tax records as required by Philippine law.

We process your information because it is needed to provide the course or service you asked for (our agreement with you), because you gave your consent (for example, when you share your story), because the law requires it (for example, tax records), or for our legitimate interest in keeping the website safe. These are allowed under Section 12 of the Data Privacy Act.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the following, and only as much as needed:

  • Google (Gmail): we use Gmail to send emails about your order.
  • Our web hosting provider: the company whose servers run this website and store its data.
  • Video platforms: some lessons may be played from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook or Google Drive. When you watch these, that platform may collect information under its own privacy policy.
  • Feedback tool (Anthropic): when you ask for feedback on an eBook practice, your answer is sent to this service to create your feedback. eBook practice answers are not saved on our server. In the avatar mock interview, recordings are uploaded to our website server for transcription, and temporary audio files are deleted after processing. Your submitted answer text and relevant background answers are sent to Anthropic for feedback and personalized sample answers. Interview answer text, feedback and assessments are saved in your account so you can resume and review your interview. If browser speech recognition is used instead, audio may be processed by your browser provider. You may choose to type your answer.
  • Amazon sellers (Hire a VA): we never share a student's information with a seller unless that student has agreed to be introduced to them.
  • Government authorities: only when required by law, court order, or a lawful request.

Some of these providers (like Google) may store data outside the Philippines. We only use well-known providers that protect data with industry-standard security.

5. How long we keep it

  • Your account and course access: for as long as your account is active, so you keep your lifetime access.
  • Payment records and receipt screenshots: for as long as Philippine tax and accounting rules require. After that, we delete them.
  • Messages and hiring requests: up to 2 years after our last conversation.
  • Published stories: until you ask us to remove them.
  • Security logs and backups: backups are kept for a limited time and then replaced automatically.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your information, except records we must keep by law.

6. How we protect it

  • Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
  • Receipt screenshots and paid lesson videos are private. Only you, and we as admins, can open your receipt.
  • The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS) and limits repeated login attempts.
  • Only VA Chris and VA Mitch have admin access.
  • We keep regular private backups so your purchases aren't lost.

No system is 100% secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

7. Cookies & your device

  • One login cookie: keeps you logged in. It is necessary for the website to work, so it can't be switched off.
  • Your browser's storage: remembers which lessons you've finished and keeps what you typed at checkout if the page reloads. This stays on your own device. Your password is never saved there.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook or Google Drive may set their own cookies.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your information is used (this page).
  • Access your information and get a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong or outdated. You can change your name, phone and password yourself in your student dashboard.
  • Object to processing, or withdraw your consent (for example, to remove your published story).
  • Erasure or blocking: ask us to delete your information.
  • Data portability: get your information in a common electronic format.
  • Damages: be compensated if you are harmed by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of your information.
  • File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

To use any of these rights, email us at bandoquillomitche@gmail.com. We will reply within 15 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, to protect your account.

9. Minors

Our courses are meant for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please enroll only with the permission of your parent or guardian. If we learn we collected a minor's information without that permission, we will delete it.

10. Changes & contact

We may update this policy, for example when we add new features. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for important changes we'll email our students.
